Planting Instructions:

Sow seeds in Spring just below the soil surface at 75F and keep soil moist until seedlings are well established. This plant grows best in full sun and well-drained soil; it cannot grow in the shade. Water mature plants only in drought conditions to avoid disease. Since each plant produces about 100,000 seeds, it can be invasive if the allowed to drop its seeds. It grows well in containers or hanging baskets.
