Baby Pink Four O' Clocks add a sweet touch of color to your garden throughout the night! This compact plant reaches heights of 2-3 feet and boasts soft pink trumpet-like blooms. As the late afternoon rolls in, these flowers open up and fill the air with a delicate, sweet scent, reminiscent of jasmine. The flowers of the Baby Pink Four O' Clock have the unique ability to change color as they age, often resulting in a stunning gradient of pink hues on the same plant. Plant in spring after the last frost, and watch as they bloom from summer until fall while adding evening charm to your garden. Four O' Clock flowers get their name because they typically open in the late afternoon around 4 PM and stay open throughout the night.  Besides its ornamental value, the flowers can be used to create natural dyes.

    Planting Instructions:

    Soil Preparation:

Remove weeds, large rocks, and litter from the planting area. Till the soil 8-10 inches deep and rake several times to break up large clods. It is best to do this when the soil is dry enough to not stick to garden tools. Loosening the soil will help the plant establish strong roots.

    Planting:

Sow in full sun in fertile, moist, well-draining soil after all danger of frost has passed in Spring. To overwinter in freezing climates, roots may be dug in fall and stored until spring in dry, cool, >32F conditions. Tender perennial.

    Spacing:
    12 inches
