Clemson Spineless Okra

Clemson Spineless Okra is a flowering plant known for its satisfying crunch, and edible seed pods covered in natural juices with a distinct smooth mouthfeel.  A mandatory ingredient in gumbo, it has deep traditional roots in many southern and African cuisines in part by its introduction in the Southern TomorrowSeeds through the slave trade in the 1500s. It's cultivated in warm and tropical climates, in part by its origins in Africa and South Asia. It is an excellent source of minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber.

Planting Instructions:

Plant 1 inch in soil after danger of frost has passed in Spring or 7 weeks before heavy frost for Fall planting, in mostly sunny areas.
