Planting Instructions:
Soil Preparation:
Remove weeds, large rocks, and litter from the planting area. Till the soil 10 - 12 inches deep and rake several times to break up large clods. It is best to do this when the soil is dry enough to not stick to garden tools. Loosening the soil will help the plant establish strong roots.Planting:
Vernalize seeds by chilling seeds for 7 days at 35F. At least 6 weeks before the soil in Spring reaches 60F, directly sow or plant in pots. Or, direct sow in early Spring after a killing frost. Lay down 1/2"-3/4" peat moss, sawdust, or potting soil, then sprinkle seeds on top. Completely cover seeds with ¼" soil. Keep soil moist until established and colder than 55F for 2 weeks for best germination rates. Annual. Do not ingest.Planting Depth: | 1/4 inch |
