African Cabbage

African Cabbage, also called Ethiopian Cabbage, is a tall and fast growing cover crop, but it also an edible leafy green with similar properties to collard greens. African Cabbage  will remain erect and retain its leaves after dying from cold weather which makes it a very effective snow catch cover crop. The durable residue and root structure also will allow the moisture from the captured snow to infiltrate and build moisture in the soil profile.

Planting Instructions:

Plant 1/4 inch in soil after danger of frost has passed in Spring in at least 70F temperature soil.
