Mary Washington Asparagus

"Mary Washington" asparagus is one of the older and most common asparagus varieties. This perennial vegetable is fairly easy to grow as a garden vegetable in a variety of climates. Asparagus need two to three years before producing quality spears then will be productive for decades.

Plant 2 inches in soil after danger of frost has passed in Spring in at least 70F temperature soil.
