Planting:
Plant seeds as soon as the soil can be worked in the Spring and soil temperature reaches about 45F. For a Fall crop, plant in mid-to-late Summer for a harvest before the first frost. Use a hoe handle or stick to make a 1/2 inch furrow deep down the center of the ridge. Plant 2-3 seeds in the furrows spaced 3 inches apart within the rows. Cover lightly with loose soil then sprinkle with water. You may cover with a thin layer of fine compost or potting mix to help retain moisture.Planting Depth: | 1/2 inch |
