Ancho (Poblano) Peppers, produce plants with lots of high quality, dark-green peppers that ripen to red. These classic peppers are used for making the traditional Mexican dish, chiles rellenos, are dried & smoked to make Mulato, or ground into chile powder and mole sauces. They make a great item for making hot sauces, drying or dehydration. Spice level is low (1,000 to 2,000 Scoville Units).

Planting Instructions:

Plant 1/2 inch in soil and keep soil at 80-85F until germination; provide light for 12-16 hours a day. When the outdoor temperature reaches 60-65F during the day and no less than 50F at night, transplant the seedlings 12-16 inches apart
