Licorice Basil is a unique spicy, black licorice scented herb with silver-green foliage! It is prized for its potent flavor, often prepared as fresh greens in vegetable dishes in various Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines. It has aromatherapy properties from the natural anethole oils in the leaves that can be added to a bath or hot water to relieve stress and inflammation. Beautiful deep violet flushes and pink spikes grow from this attractive herb and attract birds, bees, and butterflies.
