Marglobe Tomato was developed in 1917 as a improved variety crossed between Marvel and Globe tomatoes. They are one of the first disease-resistant varieties ever created. They are also crack-resistant and are excellent producers, producing high yields of 8 to 10 oz red tomatoes. Superb tasting and perfect for sandwiches, salads, slicing, and canning.

Planting Instructions:

Start tomatoes indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost of spring, sowing Marglobe heirloom tomato seeds in a flat 1/4" deep and 1" apart. Keep the temperature at 70-75 degrees F until germination, as well as providing adequate light in a sunny window or under a grow light; keep the soil moist, but make sure drainage is adequate.
