Sweet Meat Squash (similar to "Blue Kuri" "Blue Kabocha" or "Blue Hokkaido Squash") is a gorgeous bluish-gray heirloom winter squash with thick orange flesh, originating from Northwest United States. These 10-15 lb squash are renowned for their spectacular storage qualities and rich, deep sweet flavor.

Planting Instructions:

Plant 2 seeds per hill 1 inch deep in rich soil about 1 week after danger of frost has passed in Spring and soil temperature average at least 70ºF. Harden seedlings a few hours a day if choosing to transplant. Keep soil moist but prevent leaves from getting wet to prevent disease. Mulch to keep weeds down and conserve moisture.
