Waltham 29 Broccoli is a cool season annual and long-time favorite variety, developed in 1950 at the University of Massachusetts and named for Waltham, MA. Incredible flavor and cold tolerance, excellent boiled, steamed or stir-fried. Plant in succession for a continual harvest from summer into autumn. Once the main sphere is harvested, smaller side shoots will develop, producing a second crop. Nutrient-rich in vitamins A, C, E, K and folic acid.
