Elephant Garlic Cloves

Elephant garlic is a rare cool-season perennial plant belonging to the onion genus. You'll harvest enormous bulbs that are up to 4" wide and 3" long. It grows very large bulbs that will produce large cloves and a tall, solid, flowering stalk with broad, flat leaves! Delicious mild flavor.

Planting Instructions:

Divide the bulb into individual cloves, plant each clove 4-6 inches deep in soil. Space them about 8-12 inches apart, to allow some airflow between plants. Harvest fall planted garlic the following season, late spring or early summer, about 240 days from planting. Harvest spring planted garlic the same season, about 90 days from planting.
