The Rattlesnake Bean is a sight to see, named for the snake-like manner which their 6-8-inch-long green and purple-streaked pods coil around the vine! This vigorous vine-grower also grow stunning purple flowers before growing pods. As an heirloom cultivar of the pole bean, it is easy to grow, has good flavor, and is very tender. The beautiful tan and dark-brown speckled seeds are popular in soups and stews.
