Black Beauty Zucchini Squash is a 1957 All-America Selections winner, this early and prolific heirloom variety has been exceedingly popular to home gardeners not only for its very dark green skin and creamy white flesh, but its prolific and reliable growth. Excellent sliced into rounds or  steamed, grilled, roasted, sautéed or breaded and deep fried. Larger squashes are also good for halving and stuffing.

Planting Instructions:

Plant 1 inch directly in the garden in fertile, warm soil in full sun after danger of frost has passed in Spring, in at least 65F temperature soil. Sow 1-2 seeds about 36 inches apart. Cover with 1 inch of fine soil. Firm lightly and keep evenly moist. Thin to one plant when seedlings have two sets of leaves.
