Buag Ngu Snake Gourd is a serpent-like dark green and white striped narrow, twisted, elongated fruit with soft flesh similar to that of the luffa and the calabash. Fruit are 1" in diameter and grow up to 12" long. Very popular in the cuisines of India, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Snake gourd grows from lacy, white blossoms. The shoots, tendrils, and leaves can be eaten as greens.
