Floridade Tomato was developed in 1976 by the University of Florida in Dade County, as a result, this variety does well in hot, humid climates in addition to having excellent disease-resistance. It is a vigorous grower of 5-8 oz firm, good-flavored tomatoes, an excellent choice for home gardens and market growers.

Planting Instructions:

Start tomatoes indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost of spring, sowing tomato seeds in a flat 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch apart. Keep the temperature at 70-75 degrees F until germination, as well as providing adequate light in a sunny window or under a grow light.
