Also known as "Silver-Seed Gourd," Green-Striped Cushaw is a crookneck Winter squash with Spring harvests, originating from the south of Mexico.  This mildly sweet and meaty squash is made into as pie filling, cushaw butter, puddings, and simply roasted. It can be cultivated for its seeds to be made into sauces, which have medicinal, antiparisitic properties.
